Europa Cinemas
Europa Cinemas is a network of European cinemas supported under the scope of the MEDIA Distribution – Support to Network of Cinemas financial scheme. In the MEDIA member countries it serves as a support tool for cinemas featuring European films and organizing special projects for young audiences. At present, the network consists of 479 theaters in twenty-nine countries. In order to become a member, a cinema must meet certain programming and technical criteria. There are 16 Europa Cinemas in the Czech Republic, both in Prague and other regions.
