Project
The Zlín International Festival of Films for Children and Youth is one of the oldest events of its kind in the world and was held for the first time in 1960. The festival introduces new foreign and domestic releases for children and youth, primarily in the area of animated and fiction film. The festival, featuring roughly a hundred films, takes place at the end of May / beginning of June and the screenings usually attract around 35,000 spectators. The festival also includes seminars and workshops for film professionals.
