AniFest is an international festival of animated films that has been taking place since 2002, always in the middle of May in the South Bohemian town of Třeboň. It introduces new films as well as significant works of both worldwide and national animated production. This year it was visited by 30,000 viewers. The festival also features the ProfiForum specialist programme – events for professionals and the professional public – international workshops, demonstrations of animation techniques and methods, presentations of authors, productions, film schools and festivals. AniFest is a member of the European Coordination of Film festivals.
