CinemArt buys an average of eight films a year, which are primarily offered to art cinemas and film clubs. These films are mostly very valuable works bringing outstanding authors and also not very well-known cinematography closer to the viewers. Besides foreign film distribution, CinemArt focuses also on new high-quality Czech films. In 2005 the company co-produced and distributed Czech films Sun State and Hrubeš and Mareš are Friends Come Rain or Shine.
